Success Stories

Parksville

  • Completed four seasons of use in Parksville Park Dept. to clean Kinsman City Park on the Waterfront. Heavily covered with goose waste, as well as human garbage from picnickers, and other nature waste such pine cones, aerating plugs, twigs, leaves.

  • Have been a main component in winning the Regional, Provincial and National Communities in Bloom Award for the past three years.

  • In 2005, when the seasonal sweeping ended, city residents were complaining about the accumulating waste in the park, resulting in an extension of sweeping the park area.

Radium Resort

  • Radium Resort purchased a machine for use on the golf course and driving range. The machine has been wonderful for picking up divots, broken tees, aerating plugs, elk and sheep waste. The weight is so light, that greens and tee boxes can be swept with no damage to the grass surface.

Seattle Parks Dept.

  • Seattle Parks Dept. in association with the Positive Animal Welfare Society.
